How can I present research?
Pubnect reviews and selects high-quality research based off of a select criteria from online research journals and repositories to invite authors to present. Currently at this moment, Pubnect is not accepting research paper submissions at this time; however, we intend to make this feature available to the public in the future.
How can I attend a conference on Pubnect?
Pubnect open conferences are available to anyone as long as they have purchased a ticket. You can purchase a ticket directly through this website. After purchasing, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to access the conference. For added security and verification, you will need to verify your email address and information before accessing the event. Check the specific conference details for further instructions on attending and verification steps.
My research was just selected for presentation, what’s next?
Congratulations! If your research was selected, you will receive a unique and exclusive code to verify your identity that is sent to you directly to your email and is not to be shared. This ensures that only authorized authors can present their work at the conference. Next, follow the set of instructions that was sent along with your code and submit your 10-15 minute recording to the form. Finally, on the day of the conference, join the meeting and be prepared to answer questions from peers and audience members.
Why do we require pre-recorded presentations if the presenters are going to be there live?
We use pre-record presentations for a couple of different reasons. 1) Pre-recorded presentations allow presenters to focus more on answering questions and connecting during the live event. Presenters have the option to pause and annotate the screen at any moment to address specific points of interest. 2) Since presenters join us from across the globe, pre-recorded presentations help minimize technical difficulties, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience for the audience. 3) In the unlikely event that a presenter is unable to attend the conference, their pre-recorded presentation can still be played. Any questions from the audience will be sent to the presenter afterward.
How can high schoolers get involved with Pubnect?
High schoolers are welcome to attend conferences on Pubnect and engage with presenters by asking questions and participating in discussions. Additionally, Pubnect is currently working on developing a virtual science fair competition specifically for high school students. While this is not available yet, it will offer an opportunity for students to showcase their projects and compete with peers. Furthermore, Pubnect is also working on a program to help high schoolers find research and publication opportunities, providing a platform for early involvement in the academic community.
